Bennett Banks began her freelance career with a project from Harvard
Business Review. Her stylized approach and visual concepts have
since won the hearts of editorial clients including Atlanta
Magazine, The Weekly Reader, Charleston Magazine, Living in Stamford
and The Charlotte Observer. The
spiritual undertones of her illustration work has resulted in multiple
commissions by Focus on the Family's juvenile periodicals, Brio
and Clubhouse Magazine, as well
as clients such as the Jewish Educational Alliance.
While
much of Banks' illustration career has been devoted to her children's
book projects, her pension for strong concepts and multicultural narrative
are equally at home in editorial markets.
